My reaction on reading the comments:

USER WEEK THREAD--THIS WEEK'S CELEBRATED USER: TASHA - Page 3 H7842C76C

Thank you all for the kind words. My appreciation week snuck up on me: I noticed my name in the thread title and was all OH CRAP HAVE I MISSED THE BEGINNING OF IT.

Trains are not all my life, but they are a big part of it. I'm still building my model railway, and was running various trains around the other day. It was quite glorious, especially when I set up a tense high speed chase on one line. I suspect a good chunk of my browsing history is looking up obscure train topics like shunter's trucks.

I also have very soft hands, so my hand-holding technique is probably very good. I'm glad people think I'm level-headed and down-to-earth, too. Thanks again, all!

What do I even say about Jonny?
I look up to Jonny in many ways. Part of it is his demeanor, which is almost always polite, because it's the sort of dude he is. I can't recall him ever being not nice, which, if he's a flesh-and-blood dude rather than some manner of sexy android, is a real accomplishment.
He is also a writer by trade. I find his choice of occupation incredibly attractive because it is important and it speaks well of his character that he chooses to write for a living. Not only is his writing commendable, it's good. I would serious enjoy reading more of his stuff in the future (nudge nudge, wink wink).
In addition to these qualities, Jonny is frequently hilarious without being vulgar, which is often very difficult.

In short, I think we all benefit from Jonny's presence in our community. He's a chill bro and I salute him.

I STILL HAVEN'T GIVEN MY "I LOVE YOU, JONNY" SPEECH YET, OH NO!

Jonny, you're one of the members I remember best from the old forum. I remember always thinking you were funny, cool, and just really nice. My opinion of you has only gotten better now, I don't think I know many people who are more polite and kind. Also, I was gone for a long time and I think I was about the last person to figure out you were gay, so hey kudos on liking guys. Guys are hot, bitches be crazy, and so on.
If I were also stuck on that Island Sasha is stranded on, I would fight him (shirtlessly) to hold your hand non-sexually instead of him. And then you would say "Guys, guys, stop fighting. Make peace, I have two hands to hold." because that's the peaceloving, smart kind of guy you are.
Keep being you, we like you!

Oh, I almost forgot the most important part: TRAINS, FRIGG YEAH.

Whenever I see a train, I think of Jonny.

I think Jonny is that little kid inside all of us, who wants to just set up a mother ducking huge model railway and just play for hours on end in a darkened room.

Just please, Jonny, promise me this wasn't you;

Jonny if I were stuck on that island that Tasha and Sasha were stuck on with you I would wrestle Tasha AND Sasha down (also shirtless) for the experience of holding your soft lotioned hands, and being the peaceloving, smart kind of guy you are you would suggest we form a circle of love and peace and we would all gather around holding hands.

And that's when you reveal it was all a set up and we form the wheel of a giant train made from sticks and damn it Jonny not everything in life can be solved by trains we are stuck on an island.

Henry's smiling face takes on a much more sinister context next to that post.

I didn't even realize you are gay.

Man I feel like I am in a sitcom some days.

someguy3657

I thought I had been the very last guy on the forum to realize he was gay. Guess not.

Well, Jonny is a really awesome guy once you get to know him. I never met him, but he sounds like one of those guys that you would never see angry. He's, like, always in a good mood, and that really brings up the mood on the forum.

I approve of him becoming a mod over me about 2 years ago

You are a seriously cool guy Jonny, If I were stuck in an apocalyptic world where the radiation has made vehicles sentient I would pick you as my guide to lead me through the train yards of Thomas the Pain engine and friends.

Jonny

I'm pretty sure radiation doesn't work that way, but thanks!

Are you a radiation scientist specialising in train mutations, Jonny?
Are you?

ARE YOU???

How would he know the radiation doesn't work? He must have been..... experimenting

I didn't realize we were celebrating Jonny! I gotta say, he is one of the most personable, level-headed, fun people on this forum. Also, the trains are awesome.

happy member week Packie
you crazy kid
I'm supposed to be the upside down one

Packie is a good Minecraft builder

If I was stuck on a tropical island and had to pick one person to build a house with i would probably pick packie because he's got good spatial thinking

D-Munny

D-Munny

Packie is just super chill, and whenever he gets involved with whatever crazy activities here he tends to be all detailed and awesome about it. I think Packie's greatest feature is being able to live his life with Upside-Down Syndrome without much fuss. He's a strong man, and I'm glad to see that his condition can't bring him down, or up, or whatever.

Hats off Packie.

Packie is just a really cool, fun and nice guy. He is also one of my fellow representatives of the Dutch language. We are secretly, but not so secretly, brainwashing all of you to learn Dutch.
If I remember correctly, Packie studied biochemistry, which is what I'd like to study as well. We will rule you all with our sexy science.

As Dew mentioned, Packie suffers from Tinychat-induced UDS. This is what he looks like on tinychat (oh, another cool thing about him, he is totally a Sheldon Cooper lookalike when upside down)

I used my insane computer skills to reconstruct a picture of what he would like without this disease

SHOCKING DIFFERENCE, I KNOW.

In any case, you're an awesome dude, and we hope you join us for tinychat parties and forum posting some more!

Packie, you crazy Dutchman! The forum would be a sad, sad place without you. And I remember when your avatar was an obscure Dutch comic strip character or something...anyway, hooray for the Dutch! [ ]
