Alright, I will speak *clears throat*
From what I remember from AJ is his style of loose and slightly off-beat humor, including jokes about windowless vans and ice cream laced with sleeping drugs. They were risky and bold at times and on any other person it would have come off as crass, but AJ made it work in with his carefree and down-to-earth earnest personality. He never made you feel like you weren't worth his time, and he always sounded like smiles and laughter.
I remember him talking about Muse a lot, and if you like Muse, I like you. Therefore I like AJ.

I really do miss you guys, and will have to try start visiting and posting more! I'm not sure you know but I often in a creepy stalkerish way browse these boards. So every time you're feeling uncomfortable and creeped out whilst you're on here, feeling like somebody is watching you whilst masturbating furiously in a trenchcoat. Then it's probably me.
I've probably grown up a hell of a lot in the past couple of years. I graduate from University on the 18th with a 2:1 Batchelors of the Arts (Hons) in Media Studies and finally leave my suck ass job at WHS Smiths (a stupid stationary store where management are pretty much the lovechildren of Stalin and Hitler). Hopefully this free time will allow me to make an appearance a lot more often!
I guess the irony is, reflecting on how much things have changed since the original forum, I now have a long-term girlfriend whose family have an ice cream van!

Everything about who we used to be on the old forum is kind of a haze to me. I see it in my mind as an idyllic sort of time where I kind of floated around on a flood of inane comments and one-liners.
Most of what comes back to me out of this is AJ. His posts always floored me with laughter, he always seemed to have something interesting to say, he read, he thought about what he read, and his tastes in music urged my own in a new direction, as even they are today.
Thus, I feel like I owe a lot to AJ (despite knowing so very little about him on a personal level).
I'm glad you're doing well, AJ, and I hope you continue to do well far into the future. I'm very grateful to have had you in my life <3

I genuinely didn't know I touched so many peoples lives on the old forum! I really should roll out the ice cream van on a daily basis on here. I just feel out of touch with all the shenanigans I've missed!
I guess life is forcing me to grow up a little, I'm nearly 23 and am going to be homeless and unemployed soon! (Although my girlfriend is trying to kidnap me at her place, although I'm worried she'll go all Fritzl on me. If I suddenly stop visiting the tree house, send help!)
