The thing to worry about with BDSM and other related sexual endeavors is communication. It's important to talk to your partner(s) to keep things under control, and of course ask permission/discuss beforehand before trying anything. I know that there are crazy strawman feminists out there that really do believe all men are rapists, and I know just as surely that that is not true at all.
But rape is a very serious issue that plagues the female populations of many countries around the world, and it is one about which I feel strongly. It is not for such a large group of people to be subjected to violence and degradation at the whims of aggressors. It is not for anyone to have power over another in such a way. I think that as a society we could recognize this, and stand against sexual abuse more firmly, instead of tossing around rape jokes and placing the blame on the victims.

Completely right, Zigs. Plus as a culture I think we need to realize it is possible to rape a male and the effects on them can be just as damaging, if not more. The macho culture we have now basically forces guys to never own up about being raped, ever.

I never put any of the blame on the victims, and while there are some things that a victim can do beforehand that won't help his or her case (like walking alone in a bad neighborhood. what they are wearing is not an example), blaming them for the rape is a dick thing to do.

Furthermore, please understand this: I will dislike and mock feminists, because, while feminists did fight for equal rights in the past, many of them became psycho bitches who think men are scum, no matter what they did, and that anyone who doesn't think the same is a misogynist pig. But I will not, and I repeat, NOT, have anything against Women's right activists, who go out and try to make an honest difference in the world, and who actually do a part in making women equals to men all around the world, rather than just bitch and blame men for it.

I think it would help if more people realized that rape is a power thing instead of just a sex thing. It's easy enough for a close minded person to say regarding a female victim "well shoot, the way she was dressed and the way she was drinking, of course she was gonna have a guy all over her! Couldn't she have forseen that and taken more precautions?" Or regarding a male victim "hey, he's a guy! You can't say he didn't enjoy at least a little bit of it!"

It's a bit harder to defend when you realize that it's more than just someone having sex with someone else without permission, but is instead about dominating and controlling someone else. We've established that sex is natural and there's no need to be squeamish about it, yeah, but it's also extremely intimate, and no one likes intimacy forced onto them. More people need to see that rape is basically saying "Look at how powerful I am, forcing all this intimacy on you, terrifying you, hurting you, and humiliating you all at the same time and there's nothing you can do about it."

Anyways, orgies or polygamy are definitely not for me. Love/sex is something between two people for me, possibly because I wouldn't want to share, but more possibly because sex has to mean something for me, and I can only be in love with one person at a time.
I really don't judge people who are into that though, as long as their partner(s) have the same view on it, so no one gets hurt.

I think polygamy is a cool thing, I know a couple ladies that have three or more boyfriends and they seem to make the relationships work pretty well. Straight-up monogamy is kind of frightening anyway, especially when you consider the sort of relationships people get themselves into. Unless you're perfectly happy with an individual in every way, I'm not so sure they're the only one for you.

I think it interesting that there aren't so many poly dudes. I suppose if a standard girl had a boyfriend who slept with other chicks, she'd be crazy pissed at him? I believe it to be a double standard of a thing.

Before I forget to ask: what's your guys' preference on crotch beards(which is obviously a euphemism for pubic hair)? For you or for your partners?

People who are mature and able adults who can handle multiple partners without falling into manipulative, abusive and shady practices should be able to do so without judgement. I also agree with the double standard issue, it only makes honestly happy polygamist fall under harsher critique. Yes, a lot of polygamy practices are often abused but not all polygamy or open marriage relationships should be instantly frowned on.

I have no issues with people who participate in orgies either, come on people if it's not hurting anyone why would you even care if they do it or not

I'm always really insecure with my "crotch beard", but so long as they are clean I have no issue with them, shaved or not. Mature body hair can be really hot, for men and women both. You're a (Wo)man damn it, be proud of your beards.

My brother and I would always worry our mother with the idea that we would both take multiple wives, though nowadays she seems to have warmed up to the idea (and/or she realized we were joking.) Still, we always reasoned that so long as everybody's getting treated fairly and the love is real and strong enough, all's good in the hood.

And I am indifferent on pubic hair, so long as it does grow thick enough to require a machete to trim.

I don't know. I think that, if I had to organize an orgy, I'd ask people to bring a valid doctor's note or something saying they're perfectly clean. If they don't, it's no orgy for them.
