Currently trying to get into Air. Also I recommend the OVA Read or Die, I saw it a few years back and it's still one of my favorites. I think it's based on an anime but I've yet to see it.

but madoka magica is kinda a mind eff its really short, only 12 episodes. it likes to look like its a regular "japanese school girl gets magic powers to transform into a magic girl and kills evil things" BUT THE SHOW IS LIEING TO YOU ALL THE TIME

A Certain Scientific Railgun (To Aru Kagaku No Railgun) has gotten a second season.
The anime adaptation of "Attack on Titan" (Shingeki no Kyojin) has started up and it's fantastic.
Sunrise has a new Mecha series called "Valvrave the Liberator" (Kakumeiki Valvrave). It's written by Ichiro Okouchi. (The guy who wrote Code Geass)

AnimeTTBM: Torrented Bakemonogatari to rewatch it in glorious HD. After spending 10 or so hours downloading, I decide I'll just watch the Hitagi Crab arc before going to bed. The first five minutes of glorious HD is truly glorious, and then the dialogue begins... Subtitles are in Spanish.
