I went to see Life of Pi and absolutely loved it. They stayed very true to the book and made it a visual masterpiece.

Interesting fact: Walter's whistle in the pivotal scene of the movie is Andrew Bird, aka the guy I post in the music thread all the time.

I have been watching a lot of films lately. Tonight I watched Midnight in Paris. It's about an aspiring writer who is transported back to the 1920s at midnight. It's not the greatest film ever written but it has some interesting reflections on the nature of nostalgia.
