Ok Rare, I know you like the whole torturing thing but if you don't leave their minds intact you'll never get any more useful information out of them.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

I saw it, and was surprised at how much APUSH didn't teach me. For instance, my book said something about Abraham Lincoln killing vampires in his spare time, but it made no mention on how big an impact it had on his life.

Peter Jackson's King Kong shouldn't have been about King Kong.

It should have been 2 hours of this.

Just went to see Prometheus. I didn't really notice any special 3D effects, and I'm not sure if that was a good or a bad thing. I thought it was a pretty mediocre movie, all the story does is set up a bunch of questions for a sequel (to what's supposed to be a prequel to the Alien series, so, a sequel to the prequel. I think I feel a star wars flashback coming up...). There's no real explanation for anything that happens in the film. There was a lot of potential for a good story, but nothing gets resolved or explained at all.

Just finished watching Princess Mononoke. It's an amazing film by (I think his name is Hayao Miyazaki). Considering he's made other amazing movies such as Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and a few others, I'm not really surprised at how awesome it was, but it was still effin' amazing.

Man, Semi, I do NOT want to see Spiderman now. And I'm not excited for Dark Knight Rises, either. Anne Hathaway is no Catwoman, and Christian Bale is unattractive. Everybody who's read any Batman comic knows what happens when Bane and the Bat confront each other.

I haven't read the comics! Spoilers!

I know what you mean about Anne Hathaway. I think she'll be okay but I think Catwoman needs to be a bit more...vivacious and I didn't get that vibe from her.

Just saw Spiderman (it was in English, even!)

...I will say this about it. What it did well, it did very well. Where it failed, it failed utterly. It had some extremely powerful, well-acted, well-shot scenes, but there's just a laundry list of inconsistencies, plot holes, and fridge logic that just drags it down so horribly. []

I know what you mean. I also find Andrew Garfield food as Spiderman but pretty annoying as Peter Parker.

I love Dr Connors in it, though.

Te gusta, Dewmann?

Is it just me, or did the guy playing Peter Parker actually out-Cera Michael Cera? And I mean that in a good way...he actually had the awkwardness very believable at times (when the script called for it...because otherwise he was a class-dodging, authority-disrespecting skater and not the science nerd he was in the comics).

...but the SOUND EFFECTS when
Spoiler:
...I about had it when I heard those...I thought I'd gotten in the Delorean and gone back to the 70s...[]

Peter Parker's awkwardness and flakiness just irritates the hell out of me, to be honest. Although as that is his thing it makes watching the films a bit awkward. At least he isn't tap dancing.
