You know that time where everybody eats stuff right? Well it's also the time of giving!
I was just thinking about maybe drawing a little Treehouse Picture ;3 I'll see what I can do, as I quite enjoy drawing, and have been doing a fair amount recently :3 Everybody is invited :3

Can someone help me? I'm trying to make a 8bit Beartato and President Bird to make them in Minecraft, but i i am having trouble. Will post rough drafts soon.

Starting a new game project, a platformer this time. I'm currently working on the level designer bit (to make my life a bit easier when I make the actual game). This step currently involves me dragging a batsymbol across the screen to get the positioning right.

Is it a Batman game?

No, but this batsymbol was the first image I found that had about the right size

What will it be about, then? Members of the forum? Will it be a story you'll write where we're the main characters or something?

Possibly, I haven't decided yet. Once it's finished I can basically make it look like anything I want if I have the right images. Ah, the beauty of 2d games.

If its a platformer, I volunteer to be a platform. I WILL BE CREDIT TO TEAM!

If that's what you're gonna do, Gorgro, try making it kinda like SSBB

I'm going for a simple mario style platformer I think. Don't have any details set yet though (like special items, possible puzzle elements, enemies, player character, or even the look of the whole game)

It currently looks like this, blocks can be dragged in place or removed if necessary, it's possible to move around through the background by holding the mouse to the side of the screen and I'm currently working on the menu, followed by a mechanism for saving newly created maps.

Who will be the main character, though?

A beecat? Please say a beecat. []

What are you using to build the site?

For now, the old classic: Notepad. Hopefully I'll finagle a better way in the near future. I have experience in HTML4 and CSS and some mostly-forgotten javascript, but any techie help will be rewarded with an @jttheninja.com email address. []

Personally I used Dreamweaver for my web stuff, but now it's Visual Web Developer Express because I get ASP.NET too. I've heard good things about Notepad++ though, maybe you should check that out.
