This is what it looks like:
Projects - Page 8 6h3lg010

The download is a 1.24MB .RAR file, just unpack and open the exe to start.
The game is 800px high, and because of a mistake i made, this is a set size. I apologize in advance to everyone with small screens. (Or terrible resolutions)

Controls:
LEFT, RIGHT and DOWN arrow keys move the blocks, UP arrow key rotates them.
SPACE BAR is the "pause" button, and it brings up a small menu.

The game speeds up every 10 lines, it has no end as long as you don't reach the top. If really needed, i can adapt the game so it speeds up more or more frequently. You're free to make new backgrounds and graphics, but respect the filename, type and size (in px) when you replace them.
Now that megaupload is dead, will you repost it on dropbox or something?

So, me and DogBreath are going to be making brass MTG coins! They may or may not be copper plated, but they will be hand-painted and have a chemically etched expansion/guild crest/whatever symbol. They will be {COST TO BE DETERMINED BASED ON REQUIRED MATERIALS, eBay POSTING FEES, AND AMOUNT OF BUYERS IN TOWN} on eBay when we start doing final production, we're still in the experimentation stage. I will be willing to take orders from here as well, and customized symbols can be made, but please keep any symbols SIMPLE, we can only have so much detail with the chemical process.

Any way you could post the source so I can try to compile it for Linux? Won't run under Wine for some reason. [ ]

Ok, but I must warn you that the code is absolutely terrible and makes my eyes bleed if I try to read it now. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sj7k56b7zippqjp/1gQGvuB7yP

Nice...but it looks like it's missing the file SDL.h, or so it's telling me.

I used a library called SDL, you'll have to include the files from there.

31 cute things you can make from cereal boxes

Recently had to toss all my cereal (I don't want to talk about it) so I'm for sure going to try these. I will post results whenever I get around to it! (I think you can apply these to all boxes for those who like to recycle and reuse)

One of the things I like to do is invent scripts/writing systems...

Right now tooling about with a script for writing English, inspired by the Arabic system. See if you can figure out what is written here:

Damn, I've been working at it for 40 minutes or so
This is hard, I could probably solve it if it used more common words but because you had to put in all the letters it's stumped me

Tried to convert the characters to letters I could more easily recognise
Ended up with more than 26 characters, i figure some of them must be punctuation
The only thing I really got is that the last word in the top row is probably "a" and the second word on the bottom row is probably "I"

I figure the first word must be "Hi"

Nope.

Hint #1: How is Arabic written?

Hint #2: I also drew some inspiration from the Tengwar, one of the writing systems for Tolkien's Elvish languages. [ ]

Right to left, yes, but the way you wrote that makes that clear anyways.

As I told you on Tinychat, the three dots gave that away very clearly. Yaay, I'm figuring this out.

I will be on the script-solving case; I like riddles!

The double dots, one above and one below, that's a period, right?

Nope. There are two commas in here, but they look like the commas you're used to seeing, sorta...other than that, one functional letter sorta borrowed from Russian, but no punctuation. [ ]

JT, you glorious bastard, I've figured it out!

Remembering to read from right to left, and combining that with the use of a mirror I had on my nightstand and some imagination... One gets these lovely lyrics;

Are you going to Scarborough Fair
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme
Remember me to (the) one who lives there
She once was a true love of mine

Well, okay, so I'll probably be posting another text in another of my many invented scripts...but until then, see if you can read this now, since Tasha seems to have deciphered it:
