Just a few minor tweaks and Modris (to avoid lawsuits) is finished! If it's finished in time, i'll have the grand unveiling when Rare comes back.

(Observant readers will note that the improvised name of my game has a hint of what the theme will be)

This is what it looks like:


The download is a 1.24MB .RAR file, just unpack and open the exe to start.
The game is 800px high, and because of a mistake i made, this is a set size. I apologize in advance to everyone with small screens. (Or terrible resolutions)

Controls:
LEFT, RIGHT and DOWN arrow keys move the blocks, UP arrow key rotates them.
SPACE BAR is the "pause" button, and it brings up a small menu.

The game speeds up every 10 lines, it has no end as long as you don't reach the top. If really needed, i can adapt the game so it speeds up more or more frequently. You're free to make new backgrounds and graphics, but respect the filename, type and size (in px) when you replace them.

This looks awesome. When I get home I'm so getting this.

There should be an exe file in it, just run that. (It might still be called Tetris.exe due to laziness on my part)

I'm currently working on a concept for an awesome fighting game...have a basic story sketched, a few character concepts, and much detail on the fighting system. Think of it as Tekken with super combos. Also have a few ideas as to actual movelists, but I'm still churning on that end...[]

The Tetris.exe and the Tetris.pdb don't have their file extensions for me. Should I try renaming the files to include the file extensions?

This is one of mine. Don't know why you need it though, it doesn't seem to be a very important file. Are you on a mac, by any chance? Because i've only tested it on Vista and 7 as those are the two operating systems i had easiest access to.
