Someone mailed me asking if I could make this thread, because they didn't know if it was allowed. Seeing how I'm Mod and can take over S.H.I.E.L.D if I so wanted, I'm gonna go ahead and make the thread for them! Hurray! -confetti-
This is to keep pony spamming on other threads to a minimum, and for fans to freely discuss and post ponies freely. Some rules:
----> Only SFW videos and pictures (I mean, seriously, they are ponies)
----> I don't want to see anyone coming to this board simply to say they don't like or don't see the appeal in the show.
This is to discuss My Little Pony Friendship is Magic episodes, images, and other media.
This thread is for fans to, without being judged or persecuted in front of their peers, enjoy themselves and the guilty pleasure so many have come to accept.This board is also for those who aren't sure if they like the show but are still interested in it for whatever reason. Whatever. I don't judge [Citation Needed].
Some Remakes Of The Original Songs;
If you like any of these, check out the originals. This show has some of THE best songs I've ever heard in a cartoon.
Oh yeah, and for those who missed it (and because I worked SO HARD on it) I'm reposting my My Little Pony review here. Threads open, more Bronies, picture spam, friendship and tolerance for all!

- That's right, the first special edition of Rare's Movie Reviews, now in FULL color [citation needed]. First of all, I want to thank everyone for sending me mails and posts wishing me luck in school, especially since it's been growing harder as my learning expands. I know I owe everyone here tons of promised projects such as the layout. That IS being worked on, and is almost done. Just give me slightly more time. I give genuine thanks to everyone who has been so patient with me. Now that that's out of the way, you are probably wondering when I will actually start the review, because you have better things to do than read this silly blog. Things such as, breathing, eating, and playing portal 2 (especially playing portal two). My special edition review is reviewing..um..My little....uh...pony--Friendship Is Magic. (How many of you thought it was a review on Portal Two before realizing the terrible truth)? Yes, that's right. My little..pony..friendship is freaking magical. I watch Ponies. How that came to be, I don't even know anymore. I'm sure it involved my soul being ripped from my body, strapped inside some iron maiden. This review shouldn't even be here. It's not, 'Rare's movie reviews and sometimes television show reviews if she feels like it'! But the show is irresistible. The animation is sleek and clean, the characters are highly enjoyable (Pinkie Pie be taken in light doses) and the humor and plots are creative and impressive for a cartoon. It's that show you murder anyone who discovers you watching it to save what dignity you have left.
Hey! HEY! Attention back to me, you didn't even let me finish!The show's actually not that bad, and is twenty percent cooler than most cartoons. Let me justify the fact I watch ponies with some well researched and carefully laid out facts about the show. First, it's created by someone named Lauren Faust, and if she sounds familiar, it's because she created well-known cartoons such as Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends, The Solar Sisterhood, and Powerpuff Girls. Yeah, this cartoon is pretty much Power Puff Girls with a sprinkle of Fosters in the form of ponies . And this woman knows what the cuss she's doing. If you can find yourself allowing your head to wrap around the fact you are going to watch something aimed towards girls...then you might just like this generation of ponies. The character animation is clean, fluid, and the characters are well developed and rounded; more so than ninety percent of the cartoons I see on any channel. Oh, and, the facial expressions and sound effects? They are genius. So I can see why a lot of people would watch this show regardless of gender or age.
NO ONE MUST EVER KNOW OUR SECRET, PINKIE PIE.
"I was like, oatmeal? Are you CRAZY? And then I strangled the bitch."
Why, WHY do I like this so much?! It might be because the ponies are cute, and not horrific beast creatures that you would see in the other generations. Take a look at any Generation one, two or three pony, and then look at My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. It's cleaner, and less nightmare fueled than the other ponies. In other words, I think this show works despite being about PONIES because it's created and built to fit todays audiences. It's not half-baked action scenes that preach about love as ponies defeat villains by having tea parties with them. It's not ponies prancing around the screen playing with stickers while more ponies and movies are added in just to sell the toy line.It's a show, created by a person who loves and takes great detail into her creations, that sets out to prove that just because it's made for girls, that just because it has ponies, that just because the words Friendship and Magic are in the title...it doesn't have to be lame, it doesn't have to be unbearable, It doesn't have to suck or insult the viewers intelligence. It's witty, sometimes tongue-in-cheek, and yes, it's adorable as all hell. Some notable characters that sprouted from the show are Derpy Hooves, which is the cross-eyed pony with an interesting story, Scratch (also known as DJ Pon-3) is the techno loving DJ who only appeared once but made a large impression, and Doctor Whoof, the time-lord pony with an hourglass as his butt mark. But you don't have to admit you find the ponies cute if you don't want to. Because the plot and mini-plots are just as great.
In short, should you watch this? I say, yes. Obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be watching it. It's on the HUB, but you can find every episode on Youtube. And it's legal as of now, because Lauren Faust said she's okay with youtube. So you don't even have to pay to watch it. But you should know that not all episodes are for everyone. If you are just starting out watching, you will want to avoid some episodes as they can turn you away from the show if you don't know what you're expecting. I'm serious, if you are concerned in what episodes you should watch, just mail me. I won't judge. Some episodes you SHOULD watch first is the Pilot (parts one and two), Sonic Rainboom, Bridle Gossip, Stare Master, Party Of One, Swarm of the Century, Boast Busters, and The Best Night Ever (which is the season finale, so don't watch unless you have a good grip on who the characters are so maximum impact).
I give MLPFIM 8/10. It's fresh, funny, and is up to date with the current generation.
PONIES. CAVE JOHNSON. We're done here.
