Well, I seem to have gotten Broken Sword working, but I really do think I'll stick to consoles for the majority of my gaming. I don't much like messing around with files to get the game working.

hey i don't know if anyone who played fallout 3 noticed it, but i noticed it in the "agatha's song" quest. it deals with the mirelurks.
also: the Pit- boss song spoiled for length and also in case you dont want to know the ending.

we all know that ppl were being manipulated and controlled using white noise sound. and if you play through the level you find that a good part of it underwater.
i found a note near a dead guy stating that he was trying to escape after everyone went crazy, that he had found a way to kill them as well. you have to turn on the white noise generator to kill them. when you go through the level you can find the generators, when you turn them on it instantly kills the mirelurks inside.
i thought the mirelurks were mutated frogs and whatnot, and that the mirelurk kings were just an adaptation to kill people better.
but with this info i new theory forms. the mirelurks were once humans but they mutated into mirelurks. much like ghouls and super mutants. although different in that there are no intelligent ones and they also do not kidnap ppl to turn them into more of their kin.
interesting no?

And The Pitt just way too depressing.

- I'm pretty sure they actually are just mutated crab/fish/things that just couldn't comprehend the White Noise. there's another note in the Vault that explains that one of the lower walls was leaking, and they'd have to keep it under control so it wouldn't flood. When the White Noise made everyone insane and kill each other, no one was able to keep the wall under control, so that's why some of the Vault is flooded, and how the mirelurks got in. I still like your theory about the mutation though.

- Either kidnap a baby and have the parents killed in order to free the slaves, although the slaves will have trouble finding a cure because they're not exactly scientists. Or, keep the slaves in servitude, while allowing the parents to continue looking for a cure, which may or may not happen soon.I'm a knight in shining Power Armor dammit! I secretly installed Steam unto my dad's laptop.
Only problem is that the only game I really want for it, TF2, takes 11 fucking hours to install.
I'll never manage to install it without my dad noticing.

Yeah. In the Fallout universe, after a nuclear war happens, it becomes one of the most anarchic, mutated, horrible places to live, and it took a massacre just to bring some semblence of order to the place.
How would you get out of that one exactly?

I think those are just broken parts of the bridge. Even then, it wouldn't surprise me if they were lynched people. Like I said, the Pitt's a pretty messed up place.

Well, me being the sensible, reasonable, sort I decieded to make my Minecraft's Grass very, very flammable. About 1000 times more flammable than wood, roughly. (This is not uncommon for me. I don't blow up worlds or delete them, I BURN them.)
Now I leave the world to burn.
I'm slightly worried as to how calming the sound of it all is. Fire sounds NICE.
I'm not sure I should feel this way.
