TTBM: The e-banking thing I use for Steam decided that my last payment didn't go through (despite my bank account disagreeing) and is now keeping me from getting Dust and Mirror's Edge. Maybe if I sold some trading cards fast enough I could just barely get Mirror's Edge with my Steam wallet, but the community market is down.

Well this was one of the worst days ever, I guess me having a great day yesterday seeing my new nephew for the first time on the day of his birth (first time I got to be there for my siblings) but today I got woken up by a text by my boss basically threatening my job. Saying things like how I need to do my job correctly, ect. ect. Never mind that I am the manager that has the lowest service times, the least number of complaints, highest shop score of a 98% when my peers score 50% or lower and I happen to be the manager that scores 100% on health inspections whenever the health department stops by.

NO that don't mean shit when you have a slow night apparently and have no sales causing a high overhead no matter what you do and now I have to get my act together or they will find someone to do it for them. Then I get accused of being angry when I present my frustration at the situation and asked why I have an attitude.

Fuck that noise, monthly over head was under control and even better until my fuck up of a supervisor decides I need 20 people on a shift every day for a week then acts surprised that overhead is now somehow out of control and I am now to blame for not exercising proper shift control? And now I am the angry one?

I had met a woman and had an on again off again flirtatious relationship for a while things seemed promising until time for dates would roll around and I would get stood up. Understandable until I found facebook posts from said person denouncing anyone who doesn't give proper respect to god and how she would rather "eat crumbs with bums then steaks with snakes" and she wouldn't ever allow herself to be near someone like that. Well guess who is an atheist???? That's right me, the damn snake in the grass resentful atheist not worth the time of day and has never been left to feel so humiliated in all his life. Thank you for finally being honest with me when I confronted you today after you said those things. My day only got better from there.

Maybe they'd let you get those games at a better discount?

Everything worked out in the end, I got Mirror's Edge with the money I got from selling trading cards and regular transactions were restored in time for Dust

Well while only functioning on 4 hours of sleep I went to work today to hear more of the BS I mentioned earlier. Never mind I ran a better shift then my boss did that day and stood my ground and argued my point very much so. I thought during the conversation I would get suspended or even fired for insubordination yet faced with the overwhelming argument against it I managed to get my points ceded in my favor. GO team me I guess but the bar is now set really fucking high for me now.

So today Detroit declared Chapter 9 Bankruptcy. It doesn't really bother me cause they had it coming, but I didn't know where else to post.
