IMMD that started with a TTBM: The furnace went out last night, so we woke up to a very cold house. Furnace guy came just before we had to leave for church, so my mother stayed behind while the rest of us went. Along the way, my mother texted me to let me know they might have found the solution:

Mom: Looks like its a thermocouple, testing it now
Me: Did you try rerouting the dilithium capacitors through the phase generator array?
Mom: Aye, Captain, but she won't hold up for long
Me: Get her to hold as long as you can, Mister Scot, those Klingons don't take prisoners.
Mom: Aye aye Capt'n, I'll do me best. Just you blast those Klingon [love children] with the photon guns!

Then later, when it did work,

Mom: Looks like we made it thru the black hole Cap'n!
