I was going to go to a Cherry Blossom festival (I missed it, thanks to the gods damned bank)

out on the side of the road, there was a woman promoting Ron Paul for President. She was swinging a big American flag (one of the few I've seen on th island) and it was blowing constantly because we were really high up in the mountains.

Then she started talking like a crazy person about how he "...doesnt take money from companies, only from us!"


She ruined it.

EDIT: I realize now it probably was not a good idea to randomly pick a direction and start flying, hoping I would fine Rare's castle.

I imagine there are more accurate navigation techniques.

IMMD: I managed to sneak onto my dad's account on my computer and downloaded Java for Minecraft and installed Steam with TF2, which I hid deep into a few folders.

The computer is now awesome.

Be sure to set Steam to not pop-up, as it tends to do...

IMMD: I'm in a math class that's slower paced than normal, because I have difficulties with math. However, most my classmates seem to be in the class not because they can't understand the material, but just because they don't give any shits at all. This is a cause of stress for the teacher, and for me.

However, out of the blue, an old student of the teacher's showed up with McDonalds, and I recognized him as one of the guys my brother and I spent a lot of time playing MW3 with over winter break. When he got fed up with my classmates, he started talking about how since he's in college trying to be a fireman, he's really had to "bust his balls" and that we should "do our fucking work" if we want to succeed. Yes, those are actual quotes.
Then he saw me doing my homework, said hey, and gave me a hashbrown.

Man. The most interesting thing a non-student said when I went to school was "Ass"


Although, Im not positive about this, but I think I might have heard my 5th grade English teacher say "fuck". She was 85.

I had a math teacher who, among other things, whistled whenever a student was being an idiot (If I Only Had a Brain, from the Wizard of Oz), would use hitting students with cars as word problems, once hit a kid with a textbook (he distributed the exponent), and described exactly how he'd torture us to death if he could (suspended in olive oil, which is just slightly acidic, enough that it eats away at your skin over time).

He is my favorite teacher of all time.

I am very glad I went to the school that I did now.

I(kind of)MMD: I spent 10 horrible hours trying to get a stupidly tiny aspect of a program to work and was hit by a revelation 30 minutes ago on how to fix all my problems with no effort whatsoever. Would have liked it to happen sooner, but at least I can wrap this stupid thing up now and continue with the actual important bits.

Oh, Gorgro. I've done that same thing (more or less.)

My band teacher once threw a clock at the Saxaphone section. They deserved it. (They kept playing before the rest of us.)

What's the cut for a fireman over there?
Over here you needn't even finish high-school, you just need to run and jump and pass some pretty minor tests.

Yeah. In Louisiana it is NOT hard to be a fireman. My Uncle is a fireman, because it was either that, or garbageman.
