It Made My Day

IMMD: It pays to hammer away at things. I've just been notified that I've managed to secure a $500 research grant for a project I've been pitching.

IMMD: I managed to reduce the start up time for an application I'm working on from ~2 minutes to ~7 seconds. Fuck yeah, algorithms and caching!

What's the application do? []

Reduce the time it takes to load things.

IMMD: Shiny letter arrived in the post. I've got a dinner with the State Governor.

The letter is on fantastically textured paper, with swirly letters on my name, and comes with a card to get you through the Security at the door and with a card that tells you all about the ettiquete that you need to follow.

IMMD: Earlier today, a cute girl I almost got with last term came over to me earlier in the free lab to ask me if I could mind her stuff. She got my name wrong but I, being a gentleman, replied in the positive anyway.

Well, dear friends, just a few minutes ago I ran into a smarter, less slutty, more fun and better looking friend of hers.
Starting from a position of weakness - the creepy guy coming from behind in the dark - I flirted slightly with this altogether better woman, who seemed genuinely interested in me and somewhat disappointed when I had to turn off so soon as we had reached my house.

I met both of these chicks while we were being zombies for a film student friend of ours.

First one didn't really get to me as much as the second, but they both tickled my sides.

Why the moon rover, though? Lego is great and all, but I do not typically associate you with lego moon rovers.

fable 3 is pretty good, has a lot of the fun dialogue and more options that the previous fable games. havent played brotherhood, but i hear thats good too.
