Video Games

Better that than my sister. She was playing Bioshock and was staring at something for ten seconds when a splicer creeped out of the other direction... AAAAAAAAAAA WHAT IS THAT OHMIGOD *BLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAMBLAM* OHGOD AAAAAAAAAAA...
Meanwhile the splicer is armed with only a wrench and is a good five feet away and my sister does not attempt to aim.

I find anything that involves somebody freaking out over a video game funny.

One of these days I have to record her when she dosen't know I'm recording her and post it here..

I don't usually freak out at games, although Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas frusturated me enough to bring out a ghetto side of myself.

lol, its really odd when i play a horror game and rare watches cause she's to scared to play it herself. she freaks out when the monsters are attacking me, and i end up getting PO'ed.
in dead space i always try to have a plan and when i dont have one i get scared. which is y i get scared when i'm in a no oxygen area, i hate being timed.
so yeah i freak out.
and then i freak out when i place down mines in strategic areas and the enemies somehow spawn in such a way that they avoid my mines, that makes me mad.
yeah, it would be really funny if we recorded our playings of dead space. i actually think i can get a hold of a device which will record footage from game consoles.

I really hate anything like this in a videogame.
Just don't fucking bother putting those features in if every enemy is going to magically miss them.

I want to see her play Resident Evil 2!!!! You know...when zombie jump out of a door.....DURING A CUTSCENE!!

oh no... i'm terrified enough in dead space 2! it takes me 10 min to walk through a room, i have to systematically clear it of enemies before i move on.

So we're driving across the country tomorrow,,, and we're taking a portable TTV with, along with some DVDs and The Wii. We also just downloaded The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and I'm excited in being able to play that while in the car.

Then I remembered....there is so much to do in that game, especially in relation to getting every last one of those damn masks...and I won't stop until I get all of them...A process that will take much longer then just one long car ride.

....I'll see you guys in a couple months then...maybe a year...

Just so you know, the Wii can't play DVDs. I imagine you already knew that though. I laughed at the irony of playing my Mario Galaxy 2 DVD on my Xbox.

Alright, so after a session of Majora's Mask on the Wii.

I REALLY REALLY MISS MY OLD COPY OF THE GAME!
I MISS MY BROTHER'S OLD FILE, THE ONE WE HAD FOR OVER 10 YEARS!
I MISS EAGERLY COMING HOME FROM SCHOOL TO WATCH HIM FIND SOME NEW EXCITING MASK/SECRET/DUNGEON/WHATEVER!

But perhaps most of all...

I miss the N64 controller.
I mean it.
I don't care if a lot of people considered it confusing.

Anything is better than the traction I get from what I'm using now, causing every Deku flower hovering to have to be done perfectly.

What are you using? A Classic controller or a Gamecube?

Wireless Gamecube controller. The Classic Controller is even more confusing for me.

VG: Yay I found Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on the Genesis 16-bit!

I have an original Megadrive cartridge! But I already own it on PS2.

Hell yes. I played the heck out of that game when I was younger.

So, on the several hour drive across the country, I was able to not only get used to the Gamecube controller, but also beat TWO temples in Majora's Mask. At one point, I ended up accidentally losing literally all of my progress in one dungeon, forcing me to go through it again.

I played a bit of Majora's Mask today.

I also just learned that you can punch the blue parts on the giant pillar in the second temple to get to the boss. I used to go to the top, shoot a flame arrow, jump and pray for the best.

I BEAT THE GAME TWO TIMES AND I JUST RECENTLY DISCOVERED SOMETHING UTTERLY STUPID THAT COULD'VE SAVED ME FROM A WORLD OF PAIN.

WHAT. THE. HELL.

Also, I've beaten The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass. Good game, although the ending was slightly bittersweet

Hello! I am not dead, I've just been doing other stuff. Like running my model railway and playing Wii Golf. Also, got the Flower soundtrack for practically nothing off PSN.

i dont think i'm going to play that game again for a while. i cannot beat that, its giving me nightmares.
