anyway, i have an idea for the RPG. i have the opportunity to bring in a character right now.... i was thinking gorgro, but i'd rather that he role play himself. i could however do his role some of the time if he permits it.
or someone else if they like.
like, samiam, rare, etc.

I haven't missed that much but this isn't making sense to me at the moment.
I'm not on any meds right now so it really should.

Is it just me or are people not using this discussion thread so much?

A little bird told me there's a small interest around an RPG, so if you have any info, questions or rules, tell me; right here! :3

-Can I start it? I got a wicked intro in my mind.

-I'd like to actually be able to finish this RPG, so if you join, you don't quit.

-Will it be Matrix-based, or just whatever?

-If you have no idea what we're talking about, read the "Random thought" thread some more.

Other than that, I'm good to go.

Here's an outline, tell me if you guys think it works.

SOMEGUY NUMBER 3657. A young man who lived a rather mundane life. At least, mundane as it is described by the members of The Treehouse. One day however, his sunglasses were seized from his person by a moderator of the land who went by the name of "Rare," for reasons he did not know. Refusing to let what he thought was an injustice befall him, Someguy attempted to steal back his sunglasses. This theft attempt on an official failed, and Someguy was punished, his body nearly broken by the tooth and claw of the unforgiving moderator. Slowly he recovered, and returned to his home, disenheartened.
But those troubles were not the end for the man known as Someguy, for the audacity of his crime is reason enough for surveillence to watch his home for all hours of the day and night. And if he took any action that could be considered grounds for arrest, that could be the last anyone would ever hear from him.
One crisp night however, Someguy recieves an unmarked package delivered to his back door. In it, he finds a vibrating cellphone. Against his better judgement, he answers it, and a voice tells him that he is being watched, and he should escape now. Moments later, a wall is vaporized, as Rare closes in on Someguy. As if on cue, a bear barrels down the street in the direction of the moderator. This gives Someguy time to run, as Rare's attention turns to vaporizing the charging ursa. Someguy sprints in the other direction, only to fall into an open manhole. He lands on a raft, just as a mysterious, dirty bearded figure hands him a light and a map, before vanishing just as quickly as he arrived.
With nothing else to do, Someguy must escape the wrath of Rare, and find out who these apparent allies are and why they want to help him.

So awesome, in fact, that I will start the RPG right now. I'll change a few things, though, if you don't mind.

I'm in as an evil overlord of sorts.

We need a title for the RPG, though.

WAKE UP? After the wake up/coma thing?

I'd take Dewmann's intro, and change it a bit.

I think we can set the rules here:

-If you join the RPG and take a big role in it, you agree that you will not quit later on. I hate leaving a story unfinished, and I'm sure many of you think the same.

-You can join at any time, either on the side of the good guys or the bad guys.

-Try not to make the RPG too unrealistic. Sure, it's a silly RPG, and funny and random things will happen, but when things go way too random, or when the good guys or the bad guys seem to always have an unfair advantage, the story loses track and becomes unfun.

-Use of pictures for whatever reason is allowed. Not recommended, since imagination is more fun, but allowed.

If you guys want to add anything to the rules, feel free to do so.

^^ I will gladly join in, but I think I'll go with a small part as a pal of Spooky's (if she wants to join in :3) who hangs about and does odd jobs in her Evil/Cute Lair.
