Okay, the top pic looks like a plate of scones. They're a sort of small dense, cake that one typically has with jam (and possibly cream.)

We have cookies, but I think in the UK, the word is only really applied to chocolate-chip cookies and very similiar variants of them. Biscuits is used as something of a catch-all term for the stuff you see in the picture: hard, brittle yet tasty biscuits. I can see chocolate bourbons, custard creams, shortbreads and maybe a fig roll.

Actually, fig rolls are hard to classify. Damnit, we're back to square one on the confusion-o-meter.

Am bored, so want to start working on a cosplay outfit (I am a cosplay virgin, first times are hard). I'm not sure what it should be yet.
Initial choice was TOS star trek uniform (those miniskirts yesss), other choices involve a gryffindor student (though I'm more into other stuff than HP at the moment, so maybe not that) or maybe a sexy (okay, not too sexy) elf, because that would make me feel awesome and pretty and I apparently already have the shiny head thingy.
Other ideas also very welcome.

i would say go as a elf or if u have a fav anime character u like try go as that

Go as a gender-bent version of a popular male character...[ ]
