TTBM #4? 5? I don't even-

TTBM: My little brother is failing all his classes, so as a punishment, my dad confiscated the Wii and PS3. Things which not only do I use, but I am THE ONLY person in the family who uses them. I'm pretty sure there's some sort of political or economical term for this sort of thing. What was it again? Oh yeah it's: FUCKTHISSHITI'MLEaVING

I've just been browsing on Facebook and I came across a funny little anecdote by a guy in my Creative Writing group a couple of terms ago. In a nutshell, the following conversation revealed he was gay, and now I'm wondering if the poke he sent me a month back was as a result of this, i.e. him wanting to get to know another gay person.

The irony is I'm not really that interested in him, or paid loads of attention to him while he was in my class, but now that I know this, and had a look at his Facebook profile/interests, I'm wondering what would have happened if I'd known sooner. Would it be something I'd have tried to pursue? Heck, would it even be worth pursuing? Am I just gravitating towards him because he was one of a small pool of gay people?

What I hate about being gay (and I think I've mentioned this before) is that you have the assumption that the person you're interested in isn't interested in you by virtue of their sexuality. It just makes things so complicated. I have no idea how I'm going to meet someone after I graduate.

TTBM: Recurring chronic bronchitis...had to have a pack of cough drops with me all during the tournament, still coughing...meds do very little (I'm even on amoxicillin)...gruh...[]

Oh man..JT...I get those all the time. With asthma the pain is worse. I actually have my own breathing machine (Nebulizer) for these occurrences.

You contacted police. You got past that bystander effect. There's no shame in not running into a dark alley when you expect danger to be there.

You're alright Ziggs. And hopefully what you've done will make sure that the person who needs help will be alright too.

To be honest I think you did the right thing. There's little to be gained by potentially endangering yourself. Better to leave it in the hands of the professionals.
