TTBM: I got the s*** scared out of me by my phone. I desided that I should start limiting how long I was in the shower and I set the timer on my phone. I'd only used it once before and it sounded like a wind-up kitchen timer, and it was nice and loud too.
So there I am, om teshower, enjoying he hot water, when I hear something like one of those cartoonish alein aduption beams that you see in TV shows. Under normal circumstances I wouldn't had been freaked out, only the TV in the next room isn't even on and the sound was coming from inside the bathroom I was in.
I paniced and jumped out of the shower only to see my phone blinking at me, with the the words "time up" on the screen. Apearently the water hitting the floor of the tub made the ring of the timer sound like a electronic, abent whir.
I want a new phone. NOW.
