Ah. That's good. There's a phishing scam that's been going after Carnegie Mellon accounts by saying that people need to re-activate their accounts or they'll be turned off...a really transparent scam, though, not even from a CMU e-mail. []

Scams like those are the natural selection on the internet. Only those who evolved the necessary traits to ignore them can pass on their...e-mail...accounts...

This analogy has come to a sudden and abrupt end.

TTBM: Totally lost track of time and worked for an extra hour. This wouldn't bother me if it weren't for the fact that I don't get payed, at all. It's what I get for wanting to solve problems.

TTBM: Getting completely soaked today

TTBM: My sister woke me up this morning to get ready for school. I asked her for the time. It was 7:57 AM.

I start classes at 8 today.

I arrive half an hour late and am refused at the door of my classroom.

Now, if I miss one more class, I'll have to make sure never to arrive late again, otherwise I fail in that class.

Son of a bitch.

Why did she wake you up so damn late? Shame on her.

My new level crossing (for my model railway) arrived today, only for the pieces to not slot together properly. Grr.

TTBM: Getting stuck on a problem at work. I was doing so well on the project I was given and then I spent the entire afternoon struggling with the same 20-something lines of code and it still only half worked by the end of the day. Then I got outside, I had no hood on my jacket, and it was raining while I stood waiting for the bus. By the time I dried up a bit, I had to get off the bus and head to the train station, which was awful because the bus stop had been moved 2 blocks due to construction work on the entire train station area, and it was still raining. finally got there, there was no room on the train so I had to stand in the corridor and now it's cold in my room and I can't get the heating to turn on.

I went to get my jaw examined today. I mentioned before I had surgery done to remove all my wisdom teeth as well as repair damage done by my lower right wisdom tooth. Well that same area (lower-right) has become infected and the hole has closed. I was put on heavier antibiotics (so strong I have to eat full meals before taking each one) and they are the size of horse pills. I have to take one every eight hours.

If these pills don't work they will have to cut my jaw open and drain the area, and I really don't want to go through anymore procedures.

That sucks, Rare.

Thing that bugs me so fucking much that I feel like punching something and my rage makes me type the whole words instead of the acronym: My sister has lice.

Eeeeeeyup and Someguy wins for worse TTBM I've seen today. Good luck man, I wouldn't wish lice or bedbugs upon even my worse enemies.

Well I spent around $190 to upgrade my computer, first I got a new graphics card which supports blue ray (awesome) I take apart my computer and install the card to find out that my computer had an inadequate power supply in it. So I go out and buy a larger power supply to support the card in my computer. After having to go back and buy a new supply I take apart and start reassembling this computer again only to almost plug it up wrong and then I find out that my integrated card does not work with the new card installed and the new card only has DVI outlets while I only have a VGA cord. So I have to unplug the card if I want to use my computer until I can go and buy a new DVI cable. I also found out that my computer can support up to 12 gigs of ram but I need DDR3 cards that nobody around here carries.

I just want to fucking start throwing tables at everything

TTBM: I'm in a sort of mini depression right now (my mood keeps going up and down, some days up, some days down), but not the kind that makes me depressed and sad about everything, more the kind that makes me bored and uninterested in everything.

Right now, I just feel like passing a quiet evening and not going to Montreal tomorrow so I can spend the day at AM's house instead.

I know that ain't gonna happen, though

Reminds me of what happened recently - I got a prescription that called for 23 pills, but my insurance only pays for 20. So I have to go back and get a refill of 3 whole pills. :l

Good grief. That reminds me of when we used to buy paracetamol in these really big tubs, only for them to contain about 5 pills because they feared people woulb but the big tubs and commit suicide with them.
