Daisy Owl #206 - Get Involved

Soooo... since noone's done this yet, and there doesn't appear to be a seperate forum for it, let's start a comment thread for the newest Daisy Owl!

Personally, as a Brit, I can't fathom why Mr. Owl is drinking his tea with the teabag still in.

I thought there was a thread called 'comic comments' here, it seems to have dissapeared. This one can replace it i guess.

I only drink tea when i'm ill, so i'm not familiar with the tea-drinking etiquette, but yes, that does seem weird. (and impractical, imagine the choking hazard)

I work for an organisation called vInvolved. I got a liiittle bit nervous my two worlds had collided when I saw this thread. Clearly they are different words though.

I'm a brit, don't drink tea though. Even I know that you don't leave the teabag in it though. Also that you put the milk in first, not after.

Edit: I said the word though, 3 (now 4) times in this post. Must pay more attention to vocabulary.

Tbh, I actually prefer it with Hork Hork Bjork, but then I like the taste of stamps when you lick them so....

That was my fault, I'll admit. I read that board wrong and thought the use for it was done with. I fixed the original post.

I think for this to work properly, there needs to be a new thread for each new comic

Mmm, shouldn't we have a board for this or something? Seeing as this is still the Daisy Owl forum, no matter how unofficial we are =)

I'll think about it when Driscoll starts updating again.

It does, but it's not turned on at the moment. I'm not sure on the time limit to set. Standard is 90 days.

I guess if it becomes to much a problem we can make a separate board for comic comments. But until we know for sure Driscoll will even continue the comic, I don't see a problem with creating separate threads.

On commenting the newest comic, I drink with my teabag still in the cup - it keeps the tea strong and bitter. This only means Owl is that much more of a badass.

I leave my teabag in my tea for like twenty minutes. Then I take it out and drink my lukewarm tea. If I leave it in for less time, my tea is too wussy to be drinkable.

I drink coffee...coffee doesn't need to be dunked...you dunk things IN the coffee. []
