Hello fellow Treehousians(?), someguy here, and this is a nice little blog showing my time over at Rare's wedding! Just a quick heads up: all of these were taken by an Ipod Touch, so don't expect amazing quality. Also, forgive my bad diction and fast talking in the videos. That is how I sound like.
Let's start with the basic: you see this picture?
Now, then. Burn 326 dollars and stare at that picture for 15 hours, while taking a break every few hours to carry around heavy things here and there. This is my bus ride to Michigan.
Along the way, I visited Toronto a little!
(if anyone know the song playing in the background of this video, please let me know. I find it catchy.)
Then, more bus ride. I also met EPIC BEARD AMISH GUY. I envy his glorious beard.
Afterwards, I was greeted into Michigan by Taco and her mother, who drove me over to Steve's mom where I set up a tent. Taco sent a text message to Rare saying that I arrived, and, for some reason, the number of cats around me increased. Me, Taco and others started to talk about Greek mythology and Canada for some odd reason, and then I went to bed on a lumpy ground that was still the flattest ground in the backyard. This was my only defense against Rare's army.
Still, it managed to keep assassins out. As I was falling asleep, I heard a cat scratch, rub and meow against my tent, and the next day, I find this:
Nice try, Mew.
Did I mention that Steve's mother has a LOT of cats? And that most of them kept staring at me?
Then, I met up with Taco, who lives right across the street, and we went to pick up
Sam at the airport!
That's Taco on the way over to the airport...
And that's Taco and Sam!
We all then went to the mall to buy cards and other things. We also discovered two things: 1. My debit card wouldn't work on some ATMs 2. There's this store selling old stuff that's kind of terrifying.
Then, after buying stuff, we met up with Rare and Steve and their families to rehearse the wedding ceremony, which took place on a golf course in one of these:
And this is Holly LaFramboise, AKA Mew Uglyface
After rehearshing, we fooled around a bit.
Afterwards, we all went and had a supper party! Food was good. It began to rain, so me, Taco and Rare, being responsible and completely serious adults, went and jumped on a trampoline.
Rare kept falling down. It was hilarious.
Here's Josh, AKA Jetfire91 AKA The Mexican
Here's the creation and the creator.
BTW, dessert was really good.
Then, me and Taco went to her place and began playing Slender. HOW FUN. Again, sorry for bad diction from my part.
Then, the big day came up! We tried to get my Canadian dollars exanged at a bank, but it was either I get an account with them first or I pay A TWENTY DOLLAR FEE I AM NOT KIDDING. We couldn't get money, in the end, so we just went to the wedding anyways. It was (almost) as glorious as the EPIC BEARD AMISH GUY's beard.
D'awwww
Taco in a dress, about to whack someone with a bouquet of flowers.
Group pictures!
LOL
Here's Taiju, I believe. If I'm wrong, please let me know.
After the wedding came the reception banquet! Along the way, Taco hat
Sam was refused at the door because of this hat. Apparently it was too silly.
Then, we went in.
(I actually gave the idea for the imperial march to play LOL)
There was a bar where we could order drinks. I ordered Sprite with cherries.
Then Taco showed a video that I wish I could've added a part in, but it was too late for that. Still, really great.
The cakes.
The cutting of the cakes.
The stuffing of the cakes.
Treehouse group pictures!
Here's a picture of Sparky taking a picture of me taking a picture of him taking a picture of me.
Rare dancing with her dad.
Steve dancing with his mom.
King and Queen of Bees dancing together.
Taco dancing with her dad.
Me dancing with cake.
Us dancing la MACARENA!
Then, on Saturday, me, Taco, Sam, and her parents went on an epic quest to find a working ATM so I can stop borrowing money from everyone and actually pay things. We finally got some money at a casino, of all places. Later that night, we went to Bart's place to play some DND in a basement with some Mountain Dew like the typical nerds we were. Meanwhile, Rare apparently cooked a steak for Steve while being topless.
DND ended up being cancelled, but I still played Skyrim and made an Argonian (LIZARD MAN!) character and killed some guards while a dragon was pwning a village.
Then, on Sunday, the group, along with Steve and Holly, all went and watched Batman at the movies. It was good, and, us being in the front, made some stupid jokes throughout the movie. Then we went to the arcade and played things.
Then, we went back to Bart's place. More Skyrim and some TF2 while the others played a bit of DND and I kept throwing an Arceus stuffy at Rare's face.
Group picture on my last night in Michigan.
Taco's mom, who was very generous and kept feeding me breakfast.
HERP DERP
And, before leaving, Rare gave me a parting gift in a bag with GLITTER THAT GOT EVERYWHERE CURSE YOU MEW.
Here's the content of said bag.
Then, 15 more hours of wonderful bus time, and I arrived home, where I was greeted by nobody because my family is gone on a trip.
I really enjoyed my time over there. Hope we'll be able to meet again, and you can be sure I'm inviting everyone when my wedding comes up.
