I'm not sure Davey's coming back, but if he is, I'll keep the Mallow Fluff on standby, and also the bees should he be a spy working to cripple the Treehouse.

What's all this about being covered in men!? Also, people like Ryan Sohmer and Jeph Jacques update all the time and love it. Although it is different for them.

I can't say much because I've yet to get Bee Comics up and running (although in my defense, I would have had 4 very large pages of Bee Comics up by now have the storm not damaged my computer) but if you are going to start a comic, you should expect people to want you to update at some regular interval, especially if the comic becomes popular. You can't just start something, have it become well-known, and not have people get angry or confused if you suddenly take unannounced breaks for weeks, or decide to update once in a blue moon. :l

He needs a girlfriend, all that looking at porn is doing his dainty wrists no good. I believe this is the reason for his lack of comics and activity. I decoded it myself from his large explanation.

On a serious note, you've gotta understand where he's coming from, but by quitting his job to become a full time comic writer, like you say Rare, you have to expect certain things, like regular updates. If he didn't want it to be that way, he shouldn't have changed the way he went about things.

I dunno if that's it though, that kind of reinforces the idea that it's a job. We should just be cool with whatever updates he throws up. He shouldn't really care about what us plebs think, maddox, vgcats, pfsc never update regularly and they still do mighty fine. The only thing he needs to change is to get on top of t-shirts, people paid money for em so it's pretty important to get them out. Heck he could pay some intern/school kid 2 bucks an hour to do that for him if it's really getting him down.

But yeah we aren't paying for updates, he shouldn't listen to us. If the comics are good we'll come back, I know that much, no matter how much whining.

True, but he shouldn't have thrown a frantic hissy fit either. Also, welcome to the forum, the background is in a state of disarray at the moment (AKA it's not done) but make your self at home :3
