..so, uh, films.
Yeah... Umm....
OH!

Dogtown and Z-boys.
Basically, it's about the people who created skateboarding - the Z-boys.

Great documentary about the origins of skating, especially how vert skating came about.

I've never seen the second Toy Story movie, which would probably be a good thing to watch before seeing the third...[]

Well, I finally took the time to track down and purchase, at the insistance of several people who are familiar with my background, my methods and my intentions for the furute, a copy of 'Taken', starring Liam Neeson.

Awesome.

So, uh, the Dead Or Alive movie is completely ridiculous and makes almost no sense.
Also, it relies on friggin' nanobots to explain its "storyline."

Because nanobots are these crazy little leprechauns with power over everything from the atomic structure up, amirite?!

You know, I've never heard of Dead or Alive until now. I rented Day Breakers from Netflix - I'm not sure how a story about non-pussy twinkling vampires eating everything in sight could be boring but that movie managed it.

Shawn of the Dead.

The best horror-based comedy ever. Period.

Either that, or Planet Terror.

Get busy living, or get busy dying.
The Shawshank Redemption-a film I watched tonight- is possibly the most moving film I've ever seen.

I saw Avatar (Last Airbender) a few days ago with Steve. I give it a very low B. He gives it a high C. It wasn't really what either of us expected. I would have been fine with the movie if the acting was better, because, frankly, it was terrible. Steve would have been fine if they didn't get so much of the movie wrong and if they didn't leave so much of the show out. I haven't seen all the "books" but I do know that they skipped over a lot of information and rushed through the plot. The first movie was dedicated to "Book one" so I think because they didn't do all the books in one movie, they could have taken their time with this. Once again, Nickelodeon disappoints me and I've given up expecting good movies from them.

Movies that make us cry? I have a few, mainly because I'm a sap ;

1. UP. Reason: Surprisingly sad and touching death early in the movie
Spoiler:
2. Fox and the Hound. Reason: When the old lady releases Todd into the wild because she can't care for him anymore, and at the end when
Spoiler:
3. Pokemon The First Movie. Reason: When Ash died and Pikachu began to cry. Not putting that in spoilers, everyone here should have seen that movie by now.

4. Rent. Reason: When
Spoiler:
dies from
Spoiler:
and when
Spoiler:
dies from
Spoiler:

Other movies to make me cry were Oliver and Company, Grave of Fireflies, Schindler's List, The first Land before Time, The Green Mile, Moulin Rouge, Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King, Spirited Away, Giratina and the Sky Warrior, WALL-E, and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Oh yeah, movie that made me cry the hardest? Watchmen.
Spoiler:
I watched it with Taco at the movies, and screamed when it happened. Then at home, I cried for like, a half-hour.

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew is the first animated movie to make me feel literally dead inside. I cried for hours after that. And to a damn Pokemon movie too! (Unfortunately it's also my favorite one, so I always watch it when it's on the Television..and it's always on the television. And I always cry).

Some of these are really embarrassing but my mom cried watching James Cameron's Avatar, so I guess I'm alright :l
