IMMD: Today, I bought a replica sonic screwdriver off Amazon for about 8-9 pounds. I've just checked it again on Amazon and it's jumped up in price slightly. Muahaha!

@Jonny: The coworker who sits in the cubicle next to me has that exact same toy...and he threatens me with it, quite often...

Ah, but that's what I love about it! Doesn't kill, doesn't wound, doesn't maim. But I'll tell you what it does do. It is very good at opening doors.
If your co-worker ever gets one of these I'd be more worried.

Also, Woody's last name is Pride, according to Wikipedia.

IMMD: I know I had the most awesome family in France, when the whole table discusses how to react to ne'erdowell in a Paris Subway; all involving forms of Weapon from Call of Duty (His father loved the idea of Semtex, and I put forward the idea of using a Carpet Bomb. Even his older sister said that Napalm is a good idea!) :3

But it's my last night here though :C
But when I get home around midday tomorrow, I'll come home to a room with a nice makeover! I can put that old TV to use and play Wii in there!

For an encore you should do the same exercise using L4D weaponry.

I can never find Pratchett books in any charity shops T_T

It shows how much I like the discworld series, that I'd actually buy something new.

I've been really lucky in finding those books on stalls and in shops. Also, wherever I go, A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian is in the shop. I have no idea why. It's a great book.

IMMD: I'm now posting from the Firefox 4.0 beta and first impressions are awesome.

They have a demo of the browser actually rendering 3d scenes in real time using your computer's hardware while grabbing and displaying web content from other websites and playing an html5 video. That's just friggin' amazing.

IMMD: My friend at school will give me Windows XP! Hopefully, I will be able to change my shitty Windows 2000, and get a much better computer that will not have a fucking Administrator Password.

By 3D, do you mean pop in/out of the screen 3D?

So I'm using the Firefox 4 beta now...for some reason the demo doesn't work right when I have my program window maximized...I hear the music, but there's no picture. If I restore the window and scale it down, it works...if I scale up the window size to the full size of the screen, it works, albeit very slowly...but maximized? Nope. Also, a lot of the "real-time" image displays in the demo don't work...wonder if it's my screen resolution (1600x900). []

@Jonny: No, it's regular old 3d.

@JT: Mine is also 1600x900 and everything works fine here. Maybe the calculations are a bit much for your cpu / gpu?
