The beard is turning you Scottish, SHAVE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE AND YOU START SHOUTING ABOUT FREEDOM
You shouldn't sleep with your students because it's a conflict of interest. You can't provide accurate performance-based grades and be objective about the education of someone with whom you're romantically involved. Or something.Top Hat Zebra wrote:TTBM: So, in Texas, a teacher was found guilty of sleeping with five of her students. Now, normally, I would say that's rather inappropriate. Apparently, though, it's illegal for a teacher and a student to engage in sexual relations, regardless of whether they are two, consenting adults, or not.
Ok, really Texas? I mean, I like the whole "Death penalty" thing, and all, but this is just ridiculous. The state should have no right to determine who I can and cannot sleep with, so long as we're both consenting adults.
(Oh, but, like, if I am drunk or something, and Im about to bang a fat chick, you can like, totally step in there, Texas. Stop me on that one.)

One thing you should know about the Texas educational system: It is incredibly fucked up from any standpoint. But not sleeping with students is probably one of the better laws in there.

The law shouldn't get involved though, no Snuggle kittens or harassment was involved. As long as the students were over 18, I don't see why this would be a crime.
[Edit: Allright, who put in the censoring? You make me feel naughty, hehe :c]
"Rape" gets wordfiltered to "Snuggle kittens with"; it'll happen anytime anyone types "rape". It's not a personal thing.Tasha wrote:[Edit: Allright, who put in the censoring? You make me feel naughty, hehe :c]
I don't remember the reason, but "Biscuit" went to "Fluttershy".Bowen wrote:Why was biscuits filtered, anyways?

I can't even see the link between those two words.
