Confession: I'm bored, so i try to do something about my Tetris project, but i'm too bored to read the tutorials on how to handle motion and collision detection so basically all i have now is a background on which i can move an object around with the arrow keys (in all directions except up).

I am off Mount Nibel, O Wise Crocoduck! Turns out you up the ladders to get towards Nibelheim. Because going down the mountain to reach a southwards town is just stupid, obviously.

....Jonny south does not always mean down.

I hope you learned Trine from the Materia Keeper (very powerful lightening spell for enemy skill materia) also you can steal gold armlets from the dragons on Mt. Nibel. Its better armor for where you are in the game right now.

I got Trine! It's great. Frog Song was an absolute beggar though.

Cool, as soon as you get the Tiny Bronco you can go and pick up a bunch of super-useful abilities like Beta (it flattens everything on disc one) big guard and white wind, but you are going to need to use the Control material to get self buffing spells. And certain skills are just uber-powerful like Shadowflare or Pandora's box, look up a game faq to find them all, some of them can be missed cause only a boss will use it.

And I must confess I never filled the enemy skill materia!

This is what puts me off about RPGs, to a degree. There's just so much micro-management and stuff to find it stops being fun to a degree. FFXII was a nightmare.

never finished chrono cross. i'm at the final boss battle and in trying to use the special move u have to do. but i keep failing!
never finished spyro the first 1. stuck on the final boss battle as well.
haven't finished dark sector, lost interest.
i suck at soul caliber XD. but i love making characters

Also, re: confessions, I MAY have revealed the engines in Thomas the Tank Engine weren't real to a 7-year old...
I suspected it myself around that time, mainly because the funnels weren't hollow.

I only played the demo to Spyro........I am so ashamed.
