Well, the English monarch is head of the Church of England and there was this whole thing with penal laws and stuff where you weren't allowed to be Catholic.

Reflected very much so in the Troubles.

Went even as far as kids being blocked from going through certain areas to get to school because it's of particular faith.

Mostly sorted out now though, except for the residual dicktards.

The greatest irony to me is that they are denominations of the same religion.
