It Made My Day

IMMD: I was walking around town today and at one point these two teen girls were walking along the pavement toward me, talking about something or other.
As I draw near they stop talking and blush a little and just after I walk past them one of them turns and calls to me "Your hair is awesome!"

I suppose it's nice to hear it IRL though.

Haha, I yelled at some dude 'SWEET BIKE!' one time. And I told a kid that his pet snake was totally awesome.
I love handing out self-esteem to strangers!

Over here the best i seem to get is not being looked at funny. Besides one gasp and "wow" the first time i tied my hair back the way it is now. Then she walked out of the room somewhat embarrassed before i could say anything. That was pretty awesome.

You weren't using a double entendre in the "pet snake" comment, were you Ziggy?

IMMD: Cute chick sat next to me on the bus. We got to talking and when I mentioned moving out she said the house she's moving into needs a tenant.

Too many! I'm hoping he'll release the 6th book quickly afterwards though, he must have thousands of finished pages by now. Last i heard he was rearranging some chapters and writing new ones for the 5th book, but that was ages ago.

I know, right? I've practically forgotten where the plot left off at this point, I've read so many books since A Feast for Crows. []

I'm planning to read the books again when i have the time, to refresh my memory. I don't want to be confused when he eventually publishes A Dance with Dragons.

IMMD: I've discovered that, despite the course information posted on my college website still being wrong, that the attached pdf files have been adjusted for this year and include some different courses that make me even more excited to get started. It seems to be very internet-heavy though, and less about actual programming so i'll have to wait and see what they will use to fill in Webtechnology II, III and VI. I have high hopes for Java.

I'm learning Java and Javascript now, even though classes aren't officially assigned.
(We're using provisional class groups for the moment)

We got JS last year, I don't like it, just can't get the hang of it. Loosely typed code is anarchy and chaos. (Also, parsing is a bitch.)

I GOT AUTODESK MAYA

I know, it's so complicated; There's just too many buttons!

IMMD: Discovering all the things we'll be learning in college. Java, J2EE, EJB, PHP, Ajax, ASP.NET, XML, SQL, UML,...

I'm sure no one knows what those things are but i just like summing them up. All that combined with several other more theoretical courses and 3 major projects is rendering me both very excited and very terrified.

I know what Java, XML, PHP and SQL are.
I get to learn Java and Javascript.

Well, I know what all of those are in general terms.

Anyway.
IMMD: Finding out I had dropped about 20kg without even trying.
I thought I was being fat!
