I saw this post on 4chan's pony board, but I unfortunately didn't save it.

The thread in question was discussing all the stupid shit Hasbro seems to be doing (the starting post was an article that I can't find for the life of me about Hasbro cancelling successful shows because toy sales were bad) and one of the anons posted that Hasbro has been doing awfully poorly in the merchandise for MLP because they wanted to shoehorn their "this is a little girl's show and only that" mentality. He claims that, if they had successfully focused on the brony phenomenon since the start and cranked out good toys that the adults would want to buy, they'd be swimming in money. After all, he said, who has the most money? A little girl that can buy one toy with her weekly allowance, or the adult that can drop a few hundred dollars on the stuff?

What do you guys think?

I'm not sure we should really be hijacking something that isn't, strictly speaking, aimed at us and I'm sure has a lot of little girl fans.. I guess it depends if they would be offering a range of toys for different audiences.

Well, that's the thing. They don't offer a range for different audiences, despite the huge popularity from bronies. They only offer cheap shit for the little girls. If they offered a larger range, they'd make more money and wouldn't have to make shit like EqG to make a profit on a new line of toys that, again, is only for little girls.
