IMMD: So, I go on Steam and see that "Organ trail" is on sale.

In case you don't know what that that game is, think of the old game "Oregon trail (you have died of dissentery)" and add a zombie apocalypse to it. It is awesome.

Unfortunately, I look and see that, while I have a little bit of money on Steam, it's not enough to buy the game.

So, for kicks, I start a chat with Taco and ask her if she could buy me that game, expecting her to joke around or to say "sorry, but no".

She fucking buys it and gifts it to me.

And says that I don't have to worry about paying her back.

SHIT'S AMAZING YO

It is really good save for a few details. The ending blew my mind

Yeah, it's very OH MY GOSH. It's incredibly sweeping and the potential it has is ridiculous but it feels like a satisfying conclusion to the game as well. It's like Portal 2 in that while I'd love a continuation of it, I also feel like the series is in a good place narratively.

I won't say anything else as I don't really want to cloud your view of the game.

Yeah, that game has some really high-level overtones.

IMMD YESTERDAY: Seeing Foreigner and Def Leppard live in Quebec on the same night is totally fucking awesome

IMMD: Survived my 4th dan (master) test this weekend...brutal. Had to go through a seminar from 9am-6pm yesterday and then the actual test from 8am-12pm this morning...I think I passed. I hope I passed...but made my day just surviving. Except now my everything is sore. [ ]

IMMD: Went down to The Exchange today (not the most fun walk in 90° weather) because there's an Atari 7800 bundle with a load of games that's been sitting there for over a month (because they were refusing to split it up). But they recognized that I'd asked about it before, so I was able to pick out a few games from the lot that they sold me separately. Four games for $7; not bad. Building a rapport with the employees; even better. Apparently both of the cashiers are into retro gaming like me. Good times. [ ]

IMMD: My mom and her boyfriend want to go to London now too, and they want me to be their guide. Oh no, another trip to London, how terrible. And since some of the stuff I got in London got stolen, I can just buy it right back again now.
Damn, I need to get a house in England.
