Dang, I'm being torn between the two factons in Equestria fandom(Solar Empire and Lunar Republic). I like Luna/Nightmare Moon(the latter more), but I like cannon Celestia too.
Also, can't tell if I like Octavia or Vinyl Scratch more. I've allways liked classical some, but recently I've been getting into techno/dubstep again. I honestly think they make a good couple, not as in shipping, but as like friends and freindly competers.

Well, I value what Qctavia does more than I do Vinyl. Im not saying that being a DJ is stupid, but actually playing an instrument is harder.



Plus, she's rather attractive, where-as I thought Vinyl was a male for the longest time.

And I've come to a dicicion after a bit of thinking. I think I'd be more willing to spill blood for Luna/Nightmare Moon than Celestia. Once a Lunar Republican, allways a Lunar Republican I guess.

Edited by yours truely. I hate Paint's spraypaint tool, but I actually like the fact that I can't draw well for once. It makes this look crude, which is what most graffiti looks like.
EDIT: After some thought, I updated it and added the paint dripping.
EDIT2: This next one came out horrible. I think it was the origonal colors that messed it up. Maybe if I used black for this one. Important note, Mortem ad Solis is latin for "Death to the Sun."

Nope! Luna has NO chance. She rules through fear, but Celestia rules with respect. These arent the old days anymore, Katls. No modern, self-respecting pony is going to be ruled by a bully.



Celestia's more powerful anyway. She won the first time, she'll win again.

Mortem ad Solis is incorrect. Literally, that is "(going) to the death of the sun." The correct version is "Sol moribitur," which is literally "the sun will die." Better yet, "Helios moribitur," which says the same thing, but makes is divine epithet, which emphasizes the fact that it is the personification of the sun that will die.

@Zebra Everything Equestain Civil War I've seen was that she won the people's hearts and that Celestia is a tyrant. I'm not going by the cannon Celestia, if I did, I wouldn't be fighting her. I'd stay neutral.

Nightmare Moon wouldn't. Luna though, she has a HUGE fanbase, even though she only shows up for a mintue in the first season and an episode in the second on.
And Celestia has far more negitive memes attached to her(Trollestia and Molestia to name two).

Well, cannon Celestia would without a doupt beat Luna if she rose against her.
I am rather repectful of cannon Celestia, dispite me being a Lunar Republican. In fact, in my fanfics, Luna tends to be more morally grey(and once even black) than her(she has a cult that follows her and she encourages them by rucruting them, and she has a tecnique of soilder training that put them through pure darkness and pain to get rid of their fear of death). I have Celestia be the noble but poltically uncouth and disagreeable older sister and Luna be the younger but more, calm, diplomatic voice of reason that has saved Equestia and it's ponies from the backlash of disagreements between the imortals(she is even the one that sugested Windigos to be sent sent in an attempt to bring the ponies togather) but is still a little shady.

Why not compromise? As the older, more experienced, and frankly more respected sister, Celestia can be the monarch and head of state, while Luna can be the head of a legislature made up of officials of her own choosing in order to advise, and if need be, overrule Celestia.

DAMMIT GUYS I'M NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO OVERANALYZES THIS STUFF.

I've heard someone say simlar. I have to agree. If the need arises, I'll fight for her, but I'd rather there not be war. But I'm perpared to fight it.

I still disagree. Luna shouldnt be allowed to have any say in the government. She's already proven herself a petty, jealous pony (by that whole, you know, trying to kill eveypony thing) and Celestia has done perfectly for 10,000 years. TEN THOUSAND YEARS! Luna just isn't needed.


Frankly, I probably would have had her killed or re-banished. She could only cause trouble.

luna's power equals celestia's. celestia only won because of the elements of harmony, of which she can no longer control.
in the "revolution" thing its supposed to be a well known fact that celestia abuses her powers and is in fact molestia instead of the show's version of her. the show's version of her is supposed to be a lie, a clever ruse, its a conspiracy concocted to lull every single pony into security while the sun rules you and enslaves you, taking away all your freeborn will. luna knows the truth, and she will save us from the wrath of the sun. for the sun knows not the wrath of the moon.

Im not saying she's less powerful than Celestia, just that.... Well, Luna's been locked up on the moon for ten thousand years.


That is one hell of a disadvantage.

In that example however, I still wouldnt choose Luna (Who is in the right) because she'll just end up losing anyway.
