Rare's song makes me want to play Fallout again, but the I remembered the endless miles of subway mazes. It was such a promising game too. *shakes head sadly*

In my humble opinion, the subways weren't hard to find your way through, but during earlier levels, they, and especially most of the rest of D.C. were pretty much suicide. That was my beef with them.

I never really got lost, I just never seemed to get where I was trying to go. "Alright, I need to go right now. The subway only goes left. Again. Fuck."

That's why I avoid the subways for non-subway related missions until I really need to explore them. They are great for casual searches of ammo, chems, and collectibles, but I wouldn't recommend using them to get to cities.
